From our research we know that, like others sports, the overwhelming reason people volunteer for Netball is because they have a passion for the game - either because they have played or officiated netball or have daughters or other family members who participate in netball.

Interestingly Netball volunteers are more likely to volunteer just because they love the game, not just because they have a child playing.

Regardless of their reasons, all Volunteers need a positive environment and clear direction to ensure a more satisfying experience.
