David retired from umpiring in 2010 after a distinguished 20-year career that included appointments to the 2003 & 2007 World Championships, 2002 Commonwealth Games, 2003 England-Jamaica Series, 2004 Australia-South Africa Series and 2007 South Africa-Zimbabwe Series. He was also part of the ANZ Championship Umpire squad in 2008 and 2009. David gained his NZ Umpire Award in 1995, and his International Award in 2001. David's expertise has extended to coaching the New Zealand Men's Netball Team and various umpire groups within the Oceania Region. He is also a current member of the ANZ Championship Coaching Panel. |
