Youth delegates from each of New Zealand's 12 netball regions meet each year to give Netball New Zealand their views on topics & issues that are important to young netballers around the country and in their respective regions.

Netball New Zealand hosted its 8th annual Youth Council Forum on 16 June 2010 in Auckland. Each year netball regions nominate one youth delegate from their region to represent a ‘youth voice’ of netball in their community.

The Youth Council forum agenda enables the participants to provide feedback and a youth perspective on many topics, including: regional development initiatives, the new ANZ Championship competition and the new National Championships format.

The delegates will also hear from guest speakers with experience in the Sport & Recreation industry, and sporting celebrities.

Netball NZ will share the delegate' feedback with the regions and also consider the implementation of suggestions for improving communications with youth in the netball community.
