| Wellington Girls' College had 43 teams in the 2009 Wellington Netball competition. The Senior A team won the 2008 & 2009 Wellington schools competition, and is the only school team playing in the new Regional Super League. The team includes five members of the Wellington U17 side that placed 2nd at the 2009 NZ Under-17 tournament. Emma Weenink was named the best defender at that event, and is a member of the 2009 NZSS team. |
