Anna Stanley, Lesley Rumball and Belinda Colling proudly represented the 2003 world champion Silver Ferns team among the 2000-2009 decade winners at the 2009 Halberg Awards dinner on Thursday 4 February. The three women were key members of the Silver Ferns team that triumphed at the 2003 World Championships in Jamaica, beating Australia 49-47 in a dramatic final.

The 2003 Halberg Awards were dominated by netball. The team was honoured with the Team of the Year and supreme Halberg Awards; shooter Irene van Dyk was named Sportswoman of the Year and Ruth Aitken won the Coach of the Year award.
