The official Netball NZ registration forms (‘SuperForms’) for 2024 has now been made available for your Centre. To see this, login to Sporty, go to the Dashboard for your Centre, click the Online Registrations tile > 2024 > Netball.  

1. Netball Registration form

Your Centre’s version of this form will automatically appear for each of your affiliated clubs and schools through their own Sporty Dashboards, so they can use it to register their netballers. 

You can (optionally) add additional questions to the Superform specific to your Centre. If you did this last season, please check that the question fields, the introductory text, and the Terms & Conditions on your form for 2024 are correct. Any questions, intro test or T&Cs that were on last seasons' form have automatically been copied across for you. If you wish to amend, please see this support article. Any fields you add to your Centre form will automatically by displayed on your club/school forms. If as a Centre you do not want the Superform open for your player registrations you are able to set an open date. To do this, click into the Advanced Options when editing the form and set a start date. This means the Superform will be available to take registrations once this date has passed. Note that some schools are wanting to make available the 2024 Superform to be available for their students to register over the school holiday period.

Each Centre has a page on their website that explains the registration process including a user guide for clubs & schools to follow. There is also a page that lists each club/school with a link to their area on Sporty and a direct link to their registration form. Please feel free to customise this page specific to your Centre. Once you have updated the 2024 Superform (remember this is optional and you may not have made any additions at all), please let your clubs and schools know that online registrations are now open for 2024. Remember that the Sporty system lets netballers register and renew without needing to login. 

Important: The grades have not yet been applied to the Superform. The reason is we are shortly to release an upgraded version of TeamBuilder. TeamBuilder 2.0 is due to be released in January. We require this to occur before we can add the grades to your Superform. The new TeamBuilder will give you, as the centre, a greater level of control to add and manage your grades, an easier process to view team entries from your schools and manage your competitions. Club/schools are still able to register their players on the 2024 Superform, it is just they will be unable to add a team in TeamBuilder. It’s unlikely your club/schools will be adding teams at this time anyway. If there are cases where you expect your clubs/schools to be entering teams prior to January please let me know. We are very excited about the release of TeamBuilder 2.0 and a separate email will be sent to all organisations using Sporty. 

Another improvement on the horizon in 2024 is SKED 2.0. This will significantly speed up your SKED experience and provide you the opportunity to create simple or detailed team entry registrations, nominating specific grades and organisations for registration of teams to your competitions.

Important: Your clubs & schools should not be using another other form for registrations other than the Netball Registration form. The Superform allows clubs/schools to add their own fields onto the bottom of the Superform if they wish. This way one form meets the needs of both the club/school and the centre. 

2. Umpire Registration form

The Umpire Registration form recognises there is specific information requested in relation to umpires. There is an Admin Only section on the Umpire Registration form where as a Centre you can record notes and achievement dates for your umpires. This information will stay with their record from year to year. If you are a Centre using SKED, all umpires registered will then become automatically visible to you to select from in SKED. If there are specific umpire fields you require, in additional to the existing fields on the form, these can be added. You will see the Umpires Registration form in Online Registrations > 2024 folder > Umpires Registration.

3. Scorers form 

By default the Scorer Superform has been applied to all Centres. This additional form is for using the MyNetball Manager or a custom Centre scoring app to record scorers details.
